1. The Service
Fringe Performers Websites (the “Provider”) agrees to provide web design, hosting, and maintenance services as outlined in the selected package). Services are specific to the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe season unless otherwise stated in the “Tourer” package.
2. Client Responsibilities (The “Don’t Hold Us Up” Clause)
To meet your launch date, the Client must provide all requested assets (images, copy, links) via the Onboarding Form.
- Delays: If assets are provided late, we cannot guarantee the site will be live by your preferred date.
- Accuracy: The Client is responsible for the accuracy of show times, prices, and booking links.
3. Review Updates (The “Buzz” & “Pro” Tiers)
- Turnaround: We aim to post reviews within 24 hours of receipt. During peak Fringe weeks (August), this is our top priority.
- Content: We will only post reviews and quotes explicitly sent to us by the Client. We do not “scour” the internet for your reviews—you send them, we post them.
4. Domain Names & Hosting
- Ownership: The domain name is registered in the Client’s name. If the Client wishes to transfer the domain away fromFringe Performers Websites after the hosting period, a small administrative transfer fee will apply.
- Duration: Hosting is included for 6 months (Tiers 1-3) or 12 months (Tier 4) from the date of site launch.
- Renewal: Clients will be offered a renewal rate 30 days before expiry. If not renewed, the site will be taken offline.
5. Intellectual Property
- The Client retains all rights to their show imagery, branding, and copy.
- Fringe Performers Websites retains the rights to the underlying website design templates and code structure.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for 100% uptime, Fringe Performers Websites is not liable for any loss of ticket sales or revenue resulting from temporary server downtime, third-party booking site failures (e.g., FringePerformersWebsites.co.u crashing), or incorrect information provided by the Client.
7. Payment & Refunds
- Full payment is required before design work begins.
- Due to the digital and time-sensitive nature of the Fringe, refunds are not available once the design process has started.
8. The “Tourer” Pivot
For Tier 4 clients, the “Pivot” to a touring site must be requested by the Client after the Fringe ends. This includes up to two rounds of revisions to change the landing page layout for touring purposes.
